Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) is an intensive and comprehensive treatment that extends over multiple months, incorporating both prolonged and frequent psychotherapy sessions. The process includes 2-3 hour ketamine-assisted sessions coupled with regular 50 minute preparation and integration sessions. This structure facilitates a substantial amount of psychotherapy within a condensed timeframe compared to traditional psychotherapy practices. The intensive nature of KAP can result in higher short-term costs due to the significant time commitment. However, many clients report that this accelerated approach significantly expedites their healing process, making it a worthwhile investment in their mental health. A typical course of KAP treatment may involve around 20 hours of direct interaction with a provider, offering an in-depth and focused therapeutic experience.

The cost of experiential sessions encompasses a wide range of services. This inves includes the session itself, collaboration with the medicine prescriber, and educational materials for both the client and their chaperone. Clients receive an experiential preparation guide and a post-experiential aftercare guide. The personalized experiential session setting is carefully curated, and clients complete preparation checklists and post-experiential reflection questions. The therapist conducts ongoing evaluation and remote monitoring, involving both qualitative and quantitative outcome tracking and scoring of assessment measures. Additionally, there is a 15-minute phone check-in after the experiential session and an optional brief 5-10 minute check-in with the client's chaperone, if needed.

Experiential sessions require several hours, limiting availability during regular hours. To accommodate these needs, we may offer sessions during weekends, evenings, Tuesdays, and holidays—times when our office is typically closed. The additional cost for scheduling extended sessions outside of regular hours reflects the extra commitment and flexibility from the provider, as well as the additional resources required for these special appointment times. This ensures both the convenience of scheduling for clients and the quality of care provided.
